there is a rabbit that runs off when i let bagel out in the back. of all the places he could go, he seems to stay around our backyard. i see him often, so much so, i feel like he’s my friend these days. i catch myself worrying about him when it’s windy, rainy, or extremely cold outside. i am going to begin leaving some food or blankets for him and his family, if he has one.
animals need love, too.
