i just woke up to loud knocks on the other side of my bathroom. i tried to sleep through it, but the knocks were too loud. i decide to get up and begin my day. i let bagel out and look outside the house and it’s a wood pecker beating on the siding from one of the tree branches in the backyard. coulda sworn i just fell asleep, too.
early bird gets the worm, i guess.
