yesterday i wrote how fall is here, tonight apparently winter is, too. i got out the gym, then went to wendy’s because it was the only thing open. there’s a lady who works there that always strikes up conversation with me. she’s kind, i don’t mind our conversations because it’s usually while the food is being prepared. she said new hampshire was getting snow as we speak. then she looked out the drive thru window at the sky. she said we were supposed to be getting snow but it’s nowhere to be found. hours later, i stepped out to let btg out before bed and it was snowing. i couldn’t believe it. how we go from 70’s to snowing in 4 days?? albeit all the trouble snow can cause, i actually love how it looks. it’s something about a winter wonderland that does it for me. though i’m pretty sure this snow will be gone by tomorrow morning, i think i’m ready to embrace the cold.
