i just got back from a night out with sebastian. we hit superica got tacos, got two free donuts from krispy kreme (hot), and went to jenni’s for ice cream. on the way to his house in noda, i dropped some of my ice cream on an ovo shirt i wore for the first time smh. when we got there, i met his new bearded dragon, khaleesi. i also got to see my godson leonidas the great. we talked family, new business plans, and our new jobs. he’s working at bank of america, and well, i’m in the lab all day in cambridge. we walked through southend where there were so many new bars/breweries i hadn’t seen before. we played a simpsons arcade game at pins, then walked up to the top floor to talk and get a view of the skyline. the city definitely changed, and usually those establishments don’t intrigue me, but i found myself wishing i was back here to be a regular at some of those spots.
i guess i’m changing, too.
