it was a dreary day, but while i was at the dog park with bagel. a black lady with her shih tzu came in. i didn’t get her name, but her dog’s name was jackson. he was so small compared to bagel, but bagel was trying to engage in some play action with him. it is always good to see bagel wanting to play with another dog because he doesn’t get the chance to do it often. jackson played for a little, but he was too small to keep up. he got too tired and he left with his owner.
shortly after, i walked home with bagel. it got me thinking, maybe bagel needs a play pal. he hasn’t had another dog’s company 24/7 since lance left to london almost 2 years ago and i can tell he is a bit different. although he loves my sole attention, he seems to want to have another companion in the house with us. with him being somewhat older, maybe adoption is the best bet at this point.
another son in this next year?
