lunch with uncle dave, 3.26.23

uncle dave texted me yesterday saying we should get lunch. it has been a minute, and that is my fault as well. i’ve been thinking about him, wondering how he was doing. crazy thing is he’s in the town adjacent to me, andover. i pick him and his wife up and we hit uburger. we have a great conversation pertaining to so many different topics. my uncle dave is a very wise man. he gave me new perspectives, shared a story about how he spilled red wine on a vice president wearing a white-collared shirt at a brazilian steak house, and took me on a tour of a small park by his house where he bird watches. he also pointed out where i could walk bagel once it gets warmer. one thing that stuck out was a story about one of his coworkers at pfizer before he left. this guy used to write books for his kids. he had a passion for it, then he started networking. eventually, he became a full-time writer and quit pfizer. that’s the goal. it’s always has and always will be. hearing stories like this inspire me, because affinivax can’t be the only way through this life.

everything happens for a reason, even the stories you hear whether they involve you or not.
