hungry, we pulled up to the kfc drive-thru. i ordered a 5 piece chicken tenders combo with a georgia gold sandwhich. i’ve been wanting to try the sandwhich, and i’m never at kfc often, so i figured why not. she didn’t know how to ring it in as the sandwhich itself, so she thanked us for teaching her. when we pulled up to the window, she commented on alexis’ apple watch and said she recently purchased hers. she was kind, genuine, and all-around happy. those moods are contagious, i felt better after our interaction with her.
as we drove off and i began eating my potato wedges, i thought to myself: it’s people like her that make the world a better place. thank you.
