kimball farms first, 7.26.23
kimball farms is only 30 minutes away from where i live so i went and checked it out today. it was hard to find parking, but i paralleled it (only because nobody was there). they have so many different activities to do. they have mini golf, an arcade, pitch & putt, a driving range, a batting cage, a zipline, animals, ice cream, and a restaurant. you can buy a wristband that allows you to do 3 or 5 of those activities. we did the ‘give me 3’ and it was so fun. mini golf is always a good time. at the arcade, i tried the claw machines and came up empty-handed. after a winless outing, we played mario kart and that was actually one of the highlights. i enjoyed it way more than i thought i would have. we went to pitch & putt before realizing it was too hot, and more importantly, not for us. the day ended with ice cream under the shade of a tent after a few hours in the sun. though pitch & putt didn’t work out for us, i had a blast.
it was my first time at kimball farms, and it definitely won’t be my last.
