yesterday we celebrated earthday, today we celebrated khmer new years even though new years was like a week ago lmao. we went over my cousins house. they were doing a pig roast along with a cookout. i saw my nephews, my uncles, my aunts, my cousins, and hella people i didn’t recognize. at one point, bowser (a 2 year old english bulldog mix) injured his nails playing with a ball. he was jumping up and down on the concrete with the ball and he broke a few nails. the thing about exposed quicks is they don’t stop bleeding. we tried finding corn starch, but that didn’t work. then i remembered a year ago how i bought a first aid kit for my car. i retrieved it and we put some powder on bowser’s front paw. then my cousin and i wrapped it with gauze. it stayed for the most part, and i’m hoping it stopped the bleeding. i didn’t stay for the aftermath as i had to leave with ta to go to bagel hoping he didn’t get into any trouble back at the crib.
we just got here and the coast seems to be clear, so a late-night walk it is to end the night.
