there’s this post-it note i put in the sample deli fridge at work along with some samples last year. that’s how i label when i know i will need a sample soon. it was labeled 20may2022. i didn’t see it for a while, then it reappeared a few months ago. i thought somebody would move it, but nobody has touched it. it’s crazy because that fridge is used every day by every team by multiple people. i was keeping track of the post-it note to see if it would make it to a year, and literally the post-it note has been there for over a year this past weekend. it was another reminder how quick a year can pass and how much can happen in a year. curious, i wanted to know what i did last year on may 20th 2022. it was the day i went out to eat at a southern joint in tewksbury, but didn’t get acknowledged by the staff. i remember that day vivid because i told e i was going to call him after my meal as i walked in, then i ended up calling him back a few minutes later lmao. i’m glad i wrote about that night because i would’ve forgotten all about it had i not.
