my mom’s cousin and her husband dropped off my grandpa today. uncle dave came with his family as well and they all stayed for dinner. uncle dave said i looked the exact same although he hadn’t seen me since north carolina. literally when i saw uncle dave, i thought the same about him. the only difference is he has grown his beard now. we ate, watched playoff football, and had great conversation. it’s so wierd to me how time passes. everyone at home tonight knew me before i knew who i was. crazy to think about, right? well everyone except bagel.
but even then, some nights i’m not sure i know who i am.
