yesterday in the yard, i saw a turtle in the back left corner of the property. i looked it up on the internet and according to several sources, it’s best to leave a turtle where you found them, unless you found them in the street. today when i let bagel out and walked around, that same turtle was no less than one foot away from the same spot i saw him yesterday. it rained heavy last night, so i was surprised to see the turtle still there. i wonder about bugs and animals when it rains heavy. like where do they go? where do they find shelter?
i’m always amazed at the resiliency and resourcefulness of animals.
life on earth is special, that’s for sure.
