money was about to leave before he showed me his newest bop, the gym red 14’s. the quality on that pair is on par and i was surprised. we vowed we would be done with buying kicks and jerseys (for now) and i asked him how looking for a place in atl was going. him and makeda found a house and signed. that’s hella good news, i’m happy for the both of them. this new chapter will be exciting for him, especially being so close to his teams in atl and about an hour out from athens. he asked what i was going to do and i’m still not too sure. i could move back to boston with mom and dad, move to raleigh with chan, or stay here. i said i was planning to stay here for 6 months to a year, but that this would be my last year in charlotte for sure. i gotta get an internship or make something pop with my creative expression. i told him i can’t keep living like this. it’s too much potential in me for life to be the way it is. life isn’t bad by any means, but life could always be richer in both happiness and fulfillment.
