grocery store run-ins, 5.25.24

i went to the gym, then headed to chipotle afterwards. despite the pollen, i made the decision to eat outside. it was such a beautiful day with such a refreshing breeze. once i finished my bowl (double white rice, double pinto beans, double al pastor chicken, double honey vinaigrette, cheese, and lettuce) i went to stop n shop to buy some protein shakes. as i’m walking, i hear my name. then when i look up, it’s my mom. she stopped by to pick up some fruit. i get my protein shakes then check out. i load the groceries into my car because my mom’s car was packed with plants. we drove home and i unloaded the groceries. out of all the years living here, i’ve never seen my parents out and about, so today was a first.

i know it’s a small world, and an even smaller town, but what were the chances?
