under dbaze’s tutelage, i went to fleet feet to get fitted for some running shoes. the guy who helped me out was dan. he brought out different brands/types of running sneakers and had me walk with them to assess my gait. afterwards, he fitted me and had me make the decision of what sneaker i wanted to purchase based off the criteria at hand. i went with a pair of hoka’s. i’ve seen people wear them before, but i never knew why. after thanking dan, i went to the adjacent marshall’s to get new pillows. seeing how close i was to the coast, i decided to drive there. it was mad foggy out, but i got out and walked along the shore. it was so peaceful. not many people were out, so that was nice. although it was drizzling, a few people brought their dogs on the beach despite signs saying no dogs allowed. you know, in 9 years of living, bagel has not set foot on a sanded beach. last summer, we walked along the beach walkway, but technically that isn’t the beach. i’m thinking of bringing him next weekend. it’s got to be when it’s not crowded, because he’s a maniac around company lmaooo.
i ended my trip by going to a chicken place i kept seeing all over facebook. it was called yas chicken. i couldn’t find anywhere to park, so i parked on the road. i ordered my food, then walked to the convenience store across the skreet, bought two powerades, and ate in my car listening to a crime junkie episode about two murders in massachusetts that could be linked.
not a bad saturday at all.
