mom and ta are feeling a little under the
weather. because of that, i ran some errands so they could rest. i went to
walgreens and cvs to pick up their prescription medications. then i went to
walmart to buy some over the counter medication. i’m ringing my items up like
normal and then i see an indian lady wearing a walmart vest approach me. she
asked something but i didn’t quite hear her. she pointed to the screen and
asked her question again. she was inquiring about my age and if was 18 or not
(because apparently you have to be 18 years old to purchase mucinex). i told
her i was, but she still id'ed me. it was no problem at all. in fact, i took it
as a compliment that she still verified my age.
it makes me think though, what the hell age did i look like when i was 18 then?
