the city is different ever since rachel left. now that she’s back in ny, she told me she’d take me to adventureland when i visit. if you don’t know my obsession with adventureland, here it is. summer of 2011, when i graduated highschool and moved to st. louis, my cousins visited me from minnesota. they wanted to watch a movie at home with chick-fil-a, so we went to target to find a movie. (this was before i was an avid watcher of movies.) my cousin bryan picks out adventureland of all movies. i had no expectations, but we came back and watched it on the ps3. i fell in love with the movie. i used to watch it on repeat and have it playing in the background freshman and sophomore year. it still is one of the greatest movies of all-time. so anyways, adventureland the movie was based off of adventureland in new york. i was excited to go, until i read about the incidents that happened over the years at the real adventureland. people be dying, and the rides seem janky lmao. we’ll prolly go, but we won’t ride the rides for sure.
should be a fun time regardless.
