i don’t know why i was in the northlake area today, oh wait, i paid the rent that’s why. well i was in the northlake area after my workout to pay my rent, so i stopped by vitaminshop to get a protein shake. chipotle was next door, so i figured why not eat a bowl. as i was eating, an elderly gentleman came in with a mascot of a froyo bowl. he handed me a small flyer advertising a portion of the sales from tonight and tomorrow night at his froyo shop went to supporting childhood cancer. i love businesses and business owners that offer philanthropic efforts through business with their company. one might have something to say about the donation to profit margins ratio, but that does not matter to me because businesses aren’t obligated to participate in such activities. although it may go unnoticed, a good deed goes unpunished.
anything helps, and if it isn’t under obligation, it should be appreciated.
