it used to be back in the day, 30 minute episode shows had seasons composed of 24 eps. netflix been releasing seasons with 8-10 eps for their originals lately. its driving me nuts. regardless, i finished season 2 of friends from college. i remembered feeling indifferent after finishing the first season, so i went back and rewatched it this past week. tonight i finished season two (which is only 8 eps!!!) and i loved it. still feel the same about s1, but s2 was awesome. i, for one, like ethan and sam’s relationship. people view their affair as adultery, which they should, but i view it as true love as well. i believe ethan and his wife was a relationship that shouldn’t have lasted beyond college, but they forced it which left sam to find someone to settle down with. i believe ethan and sam are meant to be, so it was nice getting to flavor some of what could’ve been, and what could still be, this past season.
i don’t want to spoil it too much for you, but i hope you can watch it with an open-mind in regards to my viewpoint.
i’m already eager for season 3!
