apple watch has these monthly challenges. my may challenge was to burn 28,300 active calories. when i saw it on may 1st, i thought no way in hell. then yesterday, i realized i had around 3800 calories left in the month. i average around 800, but i figured why not go for it. to begin the day, all i needed was 1700 calories for the may challenge. i woke up early to hit the gym before work, then i came home after work to cut both the front and backyard. then with the sunlight i had left, i took btg to the park to walk. i ended up achieving the goal, but man i’m beat. they also sold our company to gsk today, so who knows what that means for me. i’m taking things a day at a time, but whatever happens, i know i’ll be headed in a different direction than most of my peers.
