driving up mallard creek to aldi, there was a sign at a church for fall fest on october 26th 2018. that sign hasn’t been changed in almost half a year, but come to think of it, it has been chilly lately. i let my mind wander, imagining of time travel and how fun, yet dangerous it would be to partake in.
fast forward 30 minutes, i get done checking out at aldi. i noticed i bought more than usual and was questioning if i had enough room in my tote. a lady who looks familiar comes up to me and hands me two paper bags. she said she bought them, but they are extra and i should use them. i thanked her and sure enough, i needed the extra bags. as i walked out, she was driving her car exiting the parking lot. i waved to her and she waved back.
i watched her drive off into the distance wondering how kind she was and where i had seen her before.
