stephan pulled up at the shop today. i haven’t seen dude in 8-10 months if i had to guess, but we still keep in contact through text. he’s still at hawkers, but he left the asian bar he was working at. i asked him how the photography was going, and he admitted he hasn’t had enough time to do shoots in the past few months. we both agreed that we need to make time for the creative expression we love, but i’m not sure i can do that at the compromise of academics. there has to be a balance between the two, but i just haven’t found it yet. he said charlotte is on fire at the moment, and the time to make moves is now.
i should do more than listen, but i’m having trouble finding the time, and most importantly, the courage to do so.
