double nickel dumbells, 8.20.21

fridays are push days at the gym. today i went ahead and hit 55lbs on the dumbell bench press. i think at the top of my lifting, 60lbs was my max back in 2015. just 3 weeks into going to the gym consistently and i’m almost back at the pinnacle. i got a good feeling about my consistency this time around, so i’m expecting the pinnacle to only get higher and higher and higher.

but not too high because i don’t want to get too big, i just want to be skrong enough to hold my own in the event of life.
