desert for brunch, 11.4.20

while out for brunch at ihop for alexis’ birthday (!), i ordered one of their seasonal pancakes. they had milk n’ cookies, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon pancakes. i gave the cinnamon pancakes a shot. along with them, i got eggs, sausage links, and a cup of fruit. i didn’t finish the eggs because the cholestorol content was in the back of my mind, but the sausage was good (no homo), and the fruit was amazing as it was fresh. the damn cinnamon pancakes though, the cinnamon pancakes though?! they were incredible. when i took my first bite, i was in love. it tasted familiar, but i couldn’t put my finger on it. a few seconds later, it came to me that this pancake was a giant cinnabon. like spot on in terms of taste. had the icing and all. i’m sure the sugar content was through the roof, but i gave myself a pass because i don’t eat breakfast that often.

but really, because it was so damn delicious.
