i was talking to a classmate during break yesterday and vaccines were brought up. i told her my dad develops vaccines for a living and he played an essential role in developing one for pneumonia. she asked what the name of the vaccine was, but i didn’t know. all i knew was that was one he developed and apparently it had been very successful. i text my dad, and he tells me its prevnar 13. i’ve seen mad commercials for prevnar 13!! that’s nuts!! to know my dad contributed majorly to the development of prevnar 13?!? my mind was vexed. he’s the greatest man i know.
i always say i will change the world, but my dad is real-life out here doing it.
