crime junkie marathon, 4.29.22

i’ve been binging crime junkies. spotify somehow deleted all the episodes i’ve played, so i’ve been replaying some without even realizing it. a case will seem familiar and as the ep goes on i’ll start remembering more, but i still can’t remember how things played out. it feels good hearing good cases for the first time again. i refinished the lipstick killer and it’s sad the guy spent his whole life in jail after being tortured during his interrogation. pretty much bodies were found dismembered and they got him because of his past burglaries. they caught him during an attempted burglary and when they searched his house they found a stolen nazi scrapbook that belonged to a neighbor of a family who had their daughter abducted/murdered on the same night. pretty much all the evidence was circumstantial and his confession was coerced. it’s hard to explain concisely, but it’s a good case to look up. today, i’ll go back into their archives and find another case to pass time while commuting from work.

i really am a crime junkie.
