dad tested positive for covid yesterday. i’ve never seen him sick before, and it’s scary. he says he is fine, but that’s because he’s strong. it’s hard to see your parents sick when you’re an adult. i hope he recovers in the next week without any long term issues. he will though, i know it. i’m just an anxious person. i’m a hypochondriac with myself, and i’m much worse with the people i love. i’m working from home for the next few days to help mom monitor him. today he seems better, but his voice is still a bit hoarse and he’s sleeping a lot. he needs some rest, he works non-stop. if there is anything positive that comes out of this, i am hoping it’s that he stops working so much and makes some time for himself to do more of the things he enjoys.
