when my parents moved from athens to boston 3 years ago, my mom gave me the sequoia. at the time, i was still driving my beloved camborghini. 2 months after i was gifted the sequoia, the camry was totaled in an accident. it was then, i began driving the 4x4 full time. i learned that i liked driving an suv because i felt more protected, and the visibility was much better, too. after getting accustomed to maneuvering a sports utility vehicle, i got into the aesthetics of off-roading. i like being capable, even if at times i don’t cash out. i made a list of the modifications and gear i wanted to purchase for the sequoia, but like a lot of things i write down, i never get to it. just recently, i got one of the items on that list: a ladder. i put the ladder on today during the chiefs and titans game, and it looks good! it motivated me to finish the build. i made a goal to finish the build by september. all i have left is auxillary lights, all-terrain tires, seat covers, and bagel’s bed.
here’s to completing the build, but more importantly, here’s to finishing the things i’ve had written down for some time now.
