when i turned on plaza, there were lane and road closures. as i kept creeping forward, i saw signs noting this was the charlotte marathon. i had no idea, and because i had no idea, i lost my ability to anticipate and prepare for it. i was one block away from work and sat in traffic for 20 minutes. i called erica saying i would be opening the store late, and she told me it was okay because she was stuck in traffic for the same reason in noda going to her other job. lmfao, i bet this fucked with a lot of people who had plans this morning. the lady in front of me was throwing her arms and screaming she was so pissed. seeing her angry must’ve meant she had to be somewhere important with someone important doing something of importance.
