at walmart earlier, i bought a cast iron skillet. i’ve always heard they cook the best, but i’ve never experienced. when i got home, i took the paper packaging off the pan, but the glue was stuck. i had to use acetone to get it off along with boiled water. i washed the pan, reseasoned it, and let it dry. i cooked medeterranean chicken in the skillet for dinner, and it was pretty good. the issue was the cast iron got so hot so quick. i need to learn how to harness the greatness of this pan, and when i do, i believe the food i cook will be well worth the learning curve.
i’m telling you, i’m taking a liking to cooking.
