as i’m on the way to work bumping a mix cd i made
on april 26th of 2009, i get a call from indiana. i don’t know who it is, so i
don’t pick up. i see them call again and ignore it. when i pull up to a stop
sign, something tells me to call that number back. when i do, it’s my boss. he
says one of the members on my team had a roommate that tested positive for
covid. my boss told me to stay at home, so i turned around and headed back to
the house. i told my parents, my grandpa, and bagel. my coworker got tested
today and is awaiting his results. we were in meetings majority of the day
yesterday, so we weren’t in close contact with each other. plus we were wearing
masks. my coworker called me and apologized, but i told him there’s no need to
apologize. we can literally catch covid anywhere. we can catch covid at the gas
station, at the grocery store, hell we can even catch covid walking to get food
at work. it’s nothing to apologize about, things happen and sometimes it’s no
one’s fault, but he’s a good guy so he feels really bad. we will probably have
to take meetings from home the next few days or whatever the case, but rest
assured, everything is all good though!
oh, and the part i overnighted from chicago fixed the leak in my parents bathroom! so no more turning the main water on and off.
oh, and my bowflex 552 dumbells came in!
oh, and it was 50 something degrees out today!
what a good tuesday.
