i told alexis about the bunny nest i found and when she came over, i showed her. as we were in the yard, i noticed a kit in the high grass! i tried to get him back into the nest, but he ran away into the small wooden area behind the house. as soon as we gave up, another kit appears outside of the wooden area! this was a different kit, because he/she had an orange neck. eventually, we caught it and put it into the nest next to their sibling. so out of the 3 that ran away from bagel and i, 2 were still in the immediate area. i hope their mom was able to find them and nurse them. if not, she will have 2 in the nest when she returns tonight!
