instead of fetch, i tell bagel to ‘pick up.’ today while watching the philadelphia vs boston game, i was playing pick up with btg with a small squirrel plush. at one point, he got distracted and began growling at the door. he does this for a few seconds then ceases, but he will continue to be attentive to what is going on, on the other side of the window. 5 minutes pass and he comes back upstairs with the squirrel toy retrieved. 5 minutes! after getting distracted!
he makes me super-proud every day, i’m the lucky one.
