i don’t know if i’ve ever wrote about this, but one of my favorite things to do with bagel when we bond is to brush his teeth. i don’t know what it is about it, but i love it. when he was 1-3 years old, i brushed his teeth every day. i thought that was overkill so i took a step back for a few months. ever since then, i’ve been brushing his teeth on a schedule of m-w-f. i was just brushing his teeth during the whole 3rd quarter of the lakers game. that’s like 25 real-life minutes. it normally doesn’t take that long, maybe 10 minutes or so, but when i’ve got sports on, i get carried away.
i’m not sure if bagel likes it, but he just lays there and tolerates it, so at least i know he loves me to some extent.
