i woke up and saw duke was in town tonight. i totally forgot boston college played in the acc, but i looked up tickets and bought one. the game was at 5pm, so i left at 3:20pm. i got some gas and was on my way. i literally sat in traffic for an hour and 10 minutes for the last three miles. it worked out though because i got to park right in front of the conte forum for free. the officer waved me in because the parking deck across was full. when i got in, the atmosphere was rocking. it was an intimate venue, and the crowd was going crazy. the eagles kept up with duke for most of the first half, but in the second half the blue devils took over. i’ve been smoking on that boston pack all week. first the hurricanes beat the bruins, then uncc softball beat boston university, and now duke beat boston college. felt good to see coach k in his last game at the conte forum, but lowkey, it might’ve been my last time seeing coach k.
actually, i might catch him at the acc tourney if they have it in brooklyn this year.
i gotta look it up.
