i talked to my dad on the phone tonight. he says they are supposed to get snow in boston. i told him to be safe and stay warm, because i know it can get terrible up there. although i’ve lived most of my life in the mild-north carolina climate, i love the idea of snow during the winter. it brings the season and holidays together so well. living in the snow-filled winters in warwick made my childhood magic. i wish i could relive those days and view the world in such an innocent light without the guilt of wanting to grow up so quick. life hasn’t been the same since. i think everyone can relate to the differences between growing up and growing older. the snow brings out such a good feeling in me, and i look forward to it every year regardless if we get any or not.
