black saturday, 11.25.23

i went to the burlington mall after the gym today. it was packed. i could barely find parking at nordstrom. i wasn’t looking for anything in particular, just wanted to see if i came across some steals. black friday since 2020 has been ass. all i see is 25%-40% off. 40% is decent, but even that’s rare these days. madewell had 50% off so i copped a flannel. i tried on two and the one with the design i preferred was too sloppy, so i passed on it. it was a boxy fit and didn’t hold its shape very well, which is a shame because the design was fire. walking around, i went into abercrombie. they had the camo jacket i tried on months ago for 25% off. i re-tried on the large to make sure it fit, then i said why not. all in all, i saved 37.5%, which isn’t bad, but isn’t as much as i’d like considering it’s black friday weekend.

all good though because now i have my first two presents to wrap for christmas!
