i don’t know if i’ve mentioned playing gone home
on here or not, but i am playing gone home on the switch. the premise of the
game is you come home and your parents and little sister is missing. nobody is
home and you have to find clues to where they are by rummaging through rooms,
drawers, etc. along the way, you’ll find notes, voicemails, and even locker
combination codes. i know i’m doing a lot of writing about nothing, so i’ll
tell you what happens. the parents are on a counseling trip to fix their marriage,
and the little sister went to pick up her girl lover to start a new life. the
house is supposedly haunted because the dad’s uncle, oscar, died there. there
are theories that oscar may have been gay or that he may have molested the dad
while he was a kid. it escalated quick, but the game is worth a shot for
someone who enjoys crime. it’s also fairly quick, might’ve took me 4-5 days to
beat. overall, i enjoyed playing gone home minus the fact the view was in first
person, which gave me headaches at times.
not a big gamer by any means, but i’ll be searching for games similar to gone home.
