bbt fraud, 12.1.20

from instagram, to twitter, to facebook, to my emails, i’ve been getting attempted hacks over the years. it’s so damn strange. i was about to fall asleep and before i got a message from bbt saying a potential fraudulent transaction. it was an amazon transaction for $39 some change. it wasn’t me, so they shut down my card.  i also noticed a $100 deposit and withdrawal that was listed under what seems like random letters and numbers. the lady on the fraud line says that is what hackers do. they deposit and withdrawal money to make sure the account is active. they begin purchasing small, then move on to bigger purchases. since my card is shut down, i gotta get a temporary one when the branch opens tomorrow. fraud always sucks, but having to remember a new card number is trash as well.

luckily the bbt fraud department caught on quick.
