bagel has never been to the beach, until today.
dad wanted to take the family to go to hampton beach to get out the house.
though dogs weren’t allowed on the beach, we walked along the
boardwalk/sidewalk. it was a warm day and the beach was filled with hella
people. there was an asian lady walking a small dog. my mom said in khmer to
not let bagel near her dog because bagel might lash out. she heard my mom and
responded in khmer. that was so cool to me. she lives in lowell, which makes
sense as there’s mad cambodians there. to be honest, the beach wasn’t that bad
of a drive, maybe an hour, give or take a little.
maybe next time we’ll go on the beach, perhaps even in the water.
