with toysrus closing, i decided to check on the sales. i love toysrus. i made trips to the one across concord mills twice a month believe it or not. i’m a collector at heart, i love toys and products of imagination. there were a lot of people in toysrus, which is typically empty when i would make my rounds. the shelves were half-depleted, but the thing is the sales weren’t even good! most things were 10% off, and yet the lines were long. i couldn’t believe it. 10% is tax, which to me isn’t justifiable to label it a ‘good’ sale. tbh, it might be worth the experience to purchase a toy from toysrus one last time. i’ll definitely miss it, like i miss kb toys.
