ever since i’ve been leaving food out for the opossums, i have been seeing more animals in my backyard. i’ve seen an orange cat, a white/grey cat, and i’m pretty sure there is another animal as the water bowl was completely empty this morning. it gets dark out early, so i’ll leave the lights on until i go to bed. sometimes i’ll look out the window and see the opossum eating. other times i’ll get out the shower and see one of the cats snacking. i love it. it is getting cold out, and although i can’t help every animal, helping where i can feels rewarding.
now only if i can find a way to help myself.
