i took bagel to the emergency because dilworth could not fit us in today. he went through biopsies, radiographs, blood tests, you name it. everything went well, except his neck is sore, and one of his liver enzymes is high. i wonder why that is. all the test suggest that the usual suspects in terms of diagnosis can be ruled out. i’m thinking now, it may be his diet. he has good kibble, but i feed him carrots along with it, so maybe pesticides are used and that is what is affecting his liver? i will speak with dilworth tomorrow in hopes to resolve this issue. no matter what it is, it will get resolved. i’ve never spoken to anyone or wrote about this, but one of my biggest fears is failing bagel. that is something i can’t do, something i won’t do.
there are plenty of good times ahead for the both of us, i’m sure of it, but this bump in the road will have to be dealt with first and foremost.
