i saw kyle give his dog a treat off an advent calendar on snapchat. i never knew what advent calendars were, but i do recall seeing a bunch of calendars hit the market around the holidays. so pretty much advent means “in arrival” or “forthcoming” and the calendars not only mark the days between what is forthcoming, but they also give small gifts for each day. it’s almost like a gift countdown. when i looked up dog advent calendars, i came across the one kyle had for his dog. it was from trader joes. i went to trader joes off mallard creek, and the worker said those calendars sold out in like ‘2.5’ seconds. she checked if they were getting any more, and turns out they were done for the season. they say there are some at petsmart and petco, so i will go tomorrow. i stopped by target and they had a dbz funko pop one, so i copped.
i’ve never had one before and neither has bagel, so this will be another of many firsts we are experiencing together!
