a pretty commute, 1.8.24

fresh snow is beautiful for up to two days after. the commute to work this morning was gorgeous. i love driving after it snows. everything looks like a hallmark holiday movie set. when i came home, i had a video consultation for vocal lessons. my teacher said my voice was warm and unique. it made me feel good because when i’ve talked to people about my insecurities about the music i make, they tend to compliment my voice. it’s giving me the confidence to go out on a limb and express myself to the world through notes and instruments. my first lesson is this saturday and i can’t wait. i am so excited because i think this time i will be sticking with this whole music thing.
