as i was getting ready to take bagel on a walk before work, lance asks if he can join. he said he had some news for me. as we’re walking, he says he is rehoming zazu because of the difficulties of moving him to london and taking care of him. he says it’s best for zazu to be with a loving family who will give him the attention and time he needs. i think it is very admirable to do such a thing as it is very difficult letting go of your companion for 5 years.
no lie, i feel very sad. zazu isn’t my dog, but he’s like a son to me and he is a brother to bagel. i’ve seen him grow since he was 8 weeks, and though i thought i was going to be sad when i was under the impression he was going to london for 2 years, i am definitely more effected now that i know i may never see him again after this month.
life is difficult at times man.
