tonight i was able to trim all of bagel’s nails using the dremel! the progress was long, but the patience was worth it. because his nails were longer, so were his quicks. i trimmed the nails down as much as i comfortably felt i could, and will revisit them this weekend. they say to trim the nails every 3-4 days to get the quick to recede. i can’t believe i’ve been avoiding doing bagel’s nails for this long, it’s so relaxing. the goal is to get his quick to recede to where his nails don’t touch the ground when he walks in the next 2-3 weeks. i think we can do it together.
