i’ve never ordered postmates or doordash for two
main reasons. 1, it’s expensive as hell. 2, the food will be cold by the time
you bring it home. a third minor reason is that most times i wouldn’t mind
driving to pick up food. with the corona virus, covid-19, the chinese virus,
whatever you want to call it, going on, i received an email from wingstop
saying they were doing free delivery. nervous because i hadn’t done this
before, i was left wondering a few things. how is the handing off of food going
down? sensitive to everything going on, would i be able to avoid tipping in
cash in favor of using my debt card?? long story short, i hopped in the shower
and asked money to keep an eye out. when i got out the shower, a text flashed
on my phone saying the order was delivered. i walked out my room and money said
he hadn’t seen anyone. panicked, i went downstairs, opened the door, and the
wings with my sweet tea were there. not only did i get my food, the wings were
good, and i was able to tip online via wingstop’s website.
what a convenience.
