2017 was 5 years ago. i’m still thinking it’s
2017 in many ways. i can’t believe my days at firebirds were half a decade ago.
those were great times. people from there come up on my timeline and i’m
thinking like damn, we’ve really seen each other grow regardless if we keep in
contact with each other or not. i wonder why we always look at the past as simpler
days, because i’m sure back then my life was complex to me in the moment. with
the way life is going, indeed those days were simpler and i miss them. maybe nostalgia
is a reminder for us to simplify our present, who knows.
can you tell i’m still mind blown 2017 was 5 years ago??
also, the kobe statue came in last night, which was way earlier than i expected. curious as to how it ended up on ebay, i messaged the seller. hopefully they respond because i’m interested in how they got their hands on it. like us, items have journeys, too. but for this display, i think the journey ends here on the corner of my dresser.
