#17 after 17, 1.20.21

today is one of the saddest days i’ve had a minute. i get to work and before i can open my computer, i check my phone to see the colts post a ‘thank you phil’ picture on ig. i’m thinking it’s no way they let him go because frank wanted him back. then i google phil’s name and he retired. i could not believe my fucking eyes. my favorite player philip rivers!!!!!!!! i’m still in shock as i write this. philip, you are the greatest man. you made the chargers relevant for so long. you are the goat, i can’t say it enough. what a pleasure it’s been watching you play every sunday. you’ve given me so many great memories, but more than that you’ve inspired me to be the best i can be. you never throw anybody under the bus and you shoulder all the blame. you are as professional as they come, yet you played with a child-like enthusiasm led by love and passion that was so contagious. i am happy you got to live out your first childhood dream, now it’s time for the second. hopefully with the second you will be able to spend more time with your family. those who debate whether you are hall of fame or not need not debate because it’s no debate! the gold jacket will fit you well big bro. as selfish as it is for me to be sad, i’m happy for you and this next chapter of your life. hopefully we will meet soon.

nunc coepi!!!!
